Alpharetta Chiropractic New Patient FAQ
We have answered the most frequently asked questions from new patients below. If we have not answered your question please feel free to call us at 678-638-0898.
- What should I expect on my first visit?
The first visit typically takes about 60 minutes. The doctor of chiropractic will review your New Patient Forms and gather your history during a brief informal conversation to determine how neurologically based chiropractic best can help you. We believe that identifying the cause, and taking the time educating you about it, is the only way to maintain your health and prevent future injury. You are encouraged to ask any questions you have because we want you to understand and have the full picture of how to resolve the cause of your problem. You will receive a non-invasive, computerized stress response evaluation (SRE) to see how your nervous system is working. Watch the video about NeuroInfiniti
- What do I need to bring to my first visit?
To save yourself some time once you arrive, you may download and print the Chiropractic New Patient Form and bring them with you. If you are unable to do so, we have forms at our office but ask that you arrive 10-15 minutes earlier than your appointment time to allow enough time to complete the forms.
- What should I expect on my second visit?
This is the most important visit. The doctor will spend about 60 min with you face to face to explain the results of your SRE test. You will learn a lot about how health really works and you'll learn specifically how the results from your test affect your condition, treatment and outcome. You are strongly encouraged to bring a friend, parent, partner, or spouse so they can benefit from hearing the information first hand.
The test results will show us your body's imbalance at its actual source. That will tell us more specifically how to adjust and give you the care that your body needs to recover. Also important for you to know is that even though most of our patients get back to their favorite activities within 3 - 6 visits with our care, resolving the underlying cause takes longer.
- How long do subsequent visits take?
After the first two visits most visits with the doctor take 10 to 15 minutes.
- Can I afford this?
We accept most insurance and will handle the administration of filing the claims for you and we are considered "in network" with most insurance companies. Please feel free to discuss your insurance coverage with our office staff or doctor when making plans to schedule. If you want to only address pain you will usually feel better in 3 – 6 visits, but if you would like to get to the source of your pain it will take longer. The visits will become less often so they will be more affordable.
- What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept most major credit cards, checks and cash. We accept your HSA/FSA debit cards. We also accept Care Credit and most insurance.
